A dime for a cup of coffee
Old man down, way down down, down by the docks of the city.
Blind and dirty, asked me for a dime, a dime for a cup of coffee.
I got no dime but I got some time to hear his story.
Subject: CG'er TWO MARTINIS could use some help
Coffeegeeks one and all, I don't know what to say except thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
My coffee and espresso time will obviously be on hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. Some of my equipment made it; but most was trashed. I saved some cups, but of course my Rufus Willis cups were MIA. I don't know if my FF!X5 works or not. My Super Jolly isn't jolly anymore, it got super-trashed:
And here's a fitting end to Illy beans:
But don't fret CG-ers, I'm drinking a wonderful cup of Kenya AA (french press) from the one and only Counter Culture Coffee! These beans rock the casbah: black cherries, citrus and a winey brightness that I love (I'm a brightness freak).
I'm trying to keep my head up. I didn't lose my sense of humor either because I need it now more than ever! Perhaps I'll be one of the first guys with a Synesso for home use!
But I'll get back on my feet again someday,
The good Lord willin', if He says I may.
I know that the life I'm livin's no good,
I'll get a new start, live the life I should.
I'll get up and fly away, I'll get up and fly away, fly away.

Thanks Tony, something to look forward to: my gal Ambrosia!
Speaking of Yuengling, we used to drive into PA to pick up Chesterfield Ale. Skunky, but really nice. Is it still around?
